The Duke of York views the latest aviation electronics technology at Rockwell Collins' UK facility

The Duke of York today visited Rockwell Collins (UK) Ltd. in Reading today to learn more about the company's latest communications and aviation electronics technology.

Rockwell Collins' UK facility has been providing innovative aviation electronic and communication solutions to commercial and government customers around the world for more than 50 years.

The Duke of York visited in his role as the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment. During the visit he received demonstrations of Rockwell Collins' airline flight operations and communications management system, the Link-16 beyond-line-of-sight data link system and military GPS capability.

In addition, HRH viewed portions of the facility involved with the maintenance and repair of avionics and in-flight entertainment systems.
