BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, this morning visited Wattisham Garrison, Ipswich, Suffolk.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Contemporary Applied Arts, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

CLARENCE HOUSE: The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning presented medals for operational service in Afghanistan to Officers and Soldiers of Battalions of The Parachute Regiment at Merville Barracks, Colchester, Essex.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince's Trust, this afternoon met young people attending Prince's Trust programmes at Ipswich Town Football Club, Portman Road, Ipswich, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk (the Lord Tollemache).

BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Countess of Wessex, Patron, this afternoon visited the National Autistic Society Surrey Service at 42-44 Stonepit Close and Holly House, Godalming, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mrs. Timothy Goad).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Chase Hospice Care for Children, later visited Christopher's Children's Hospice, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford, Surrey.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Princess Royal this morning opened Lincolnshire Wolds College at North Holme Road, Louth, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr. Anthony Worth).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Boston Stump Restoration and Development Appeal, this afternoon launched the 2009 Festival Programme at St. Botolph's Church, Wormgate, Boston, Lincolnshire.

The Princess Royal, Patron, RYA Sailability, later visited Rutland Sailing Club, Gibbetts Lane, Edith Weston, Oakham, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland (Dr. Laurence Howard).

Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, this evening attended Foundation Day at Senate House, Malet Street, London, WC1.
